National Careers Service
The National Careers Service is an advice service providing information, advice and guidance to help make decisions on careers, learning, training and work. Advisers can be contacted over the phone, webchat and email and are available 7 days a week, 8 am – 10 pm. The site has a range of useful resources, including a skills assessment tool to help you discover jobs that may suit you best, hundreds of job profiles, a course search link and a specific section on help getting a job. The service also produces a range of useful careers related resources for use in schools that can provide supporting evidence for the Gatsby benchmarks.
