On 22nd June 2021 Gursharen Sandhu, Higher Education Coordinator for Care Leavers at the Hertfordshire Virtual School, Hertfordshire County Council delivered a webinar to teachers and advisers. This session covered some of the barriers and challenges faced by Care Leavers in accessing Higher Education opportunities, and helped in understanding how to better support Looked After Children within their educational journey.
